Part 1: What is AdSense?
You may have noticed several ads appearing in the videos on various social platforms. AdSense is a part of Google that is responsible for placing such ads in the videos. You can sign up directly from the YouTube account.
If you want to place an ad, you can publish it on various media via Adsense. As an advertiser, you can publish anything in videos, images or text on the websites and pay per impression or per click or per conversion.
If you have a YouTube Adsense account or your website is connected to an Adsense account, you can earn money when Google places ads on your channel.
Don’t worry, creating a Google Adsense account is free and creating one will qualify your YouTube channel or website for Google Ads for free. You just need to copy and paste some code to get started. AdSense earnings are calculated on a pay-per-click or per-impression basis. However, if you want to receive payment, you must first set up an AdSense account.
Step 2: Enable monetization

Find your money in Adsense
Intuitively, many creators think that the first thing they see when they open AdSense should be their daily earnings. That’s not the case. Aside from how much money you’ve made, AdSense tracks a lot of things that the average YouTuber won’t find useful. Getting to a report of your daily earnings actually requires a bit of navigation.
Under Products, scroll down until you get to a chart where there are two options: Hosted AdSense for content and AdSense for content. AdSense for Content refers to a personal website. For information about your YouTube channel, click Hosted AdSense for Content.
First, in AdSense, click Performance Report at the top of your screen. On the next page is a drop down menu that says Days. Click on this menu and change it to Products.
